OpenBook_ClosedJudgements

Hello world! (I'm new to this, so bear with me.)

Throughout my mere 20 years of life, I have learned many things about the people inhabiting the Earth. Although I have never been outside the U.S., I can definitely start here. People are quite peculiar. We, as humans, can be so brilliant. Then at the very same time we choose to make unintelligent decisions. I believe some of us have gotten to a point in our lives where either one of two things have simultaneously taken place. 1) We have gotten so 'perfect' that we believe we have the "right" to look down on our fellow man, for their "different" imperfections; and 2) We have chosen to publicly display our ignorance through shame on our own part by believing we can indefinitely pass judgement on our fellow man, because our imperfections/sins are "not that" sin. God does not judge one sin as being greater than another, no matter what it may be. Sin is sin. We ALL sin! But God is THE judge of our sins. The sooner we humans realize we have neither the right nor room to judge others, the sooner we can come together. It is so infuriating when I witness people change their whole perception of a person because they have AIDS, they are gay/lesbian, they do not go to church every Sunday, a education, or the lack thereof, or anything they may feel legitimizes judgements on others.

I personally am a Christian. With that being said, it means my actions should be Christ-like. I should not have to walk around telling people I am a Christian; it should be evident in my walk and my talk. I will tell "My Story" to anyone I meet. This is because I have truly come to know God for myself. Growing up in the church all my life has helped in steering my life in the right way, especially spiritually. I have realized that I am a vessel for the Lord's using. My life is nothing near perfect, but I will not dare miss the opportunity to bring a soul to God because of my foolish, prideful actions. No one deserves to be looked down upon by another imperfect being who is clearly in denial of his own folly.

All in all, I am here for the learning. My journey is not near finished, and my life is not near perfect. My story is all I have. I am willing to share it with those who are willing to listen, not judge, and use it to take an introspective look at his own life to better the next man's. None of us are here for self; this is God's world. He has merely let us inhabit it for His glory and honor. I pray I always keep this in my heart. Ask me-- I'm an open book with closed judgements. Ask me.

"For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son; that whosoever believed in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life. -John 3:16 (KJV)"
